Turbocharger
failure

Paid in full

£1,847

2019 BMW 320d · 68k miles · Premium

We pay £1,847

You pay £0

Warning light on the motorway, then a loss of power. Diagnosed on the Tuesday, authorised the same afternoon, paid straight to the garage.

Gearbox failure

Limit reached

£2,180
2017 VW Golf · 83k miles · Standard

We pay £1,500

You pay £680

A rebuild authorised the same week it was diagnosed. The plan limit is the only reason the customer contributed anything at all.

This is why the plan limit matters. Standard covers £1,500 of this repair; Premium would cover the full £2,180.

ECU failure

Paid in full

£912

2015 Nissan Qashqai · 96k miles · Essential

We pay £912

You pay £0

Intermittent no-start that three garages had failed to pin down. Supply, fit and coding covered, plus the recovery that got it there.

How a claim actually works

Four steps. One rule before all the others.

Three commitments that decide whether a warranty is worth having — stated plainly, with the limits attached.

01

Call first

Ring the claims line before the garage begins. This is the one rule that protects your claim.

02

Diagnosis

We speak to your garage directly and agree what has actually failed.

03

Authorisation

We confirm in writing what we will pay before a spanner is lifted.

04

Repair

Work goes ahead and we settle with the garage directly wherever we can.

Claims line

0330 808 0633

Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm. A UK team, and the same team that
authorises the work.

Ring before any work starts, even if you are not sure the failure is covered.

No buried questions

The things people want answered before paying.

Yes. Rolling monthly, no minimum term, no exit fee. Cancel and your cover runs to the end of the month you have paid for.

Any VAT-registered garage in the UK, including a franchised dealer or the independent you already trust. The only rule is that you call us before work starts. We pay the garage directly wherever we can, so you are not funding the repair and waiting to be reimbursed.

Cover transfers to the new keeper at no charge, which is worth real money on a private sale. Send us their details and we reissue the certificate.

No, and there is no impact on your credit file. You are paying monthly for a service, not borrowing to buy one.

It is the most we pay towards any single repair. It is not an annual budget and not an excess. All four levels cover the same components; a higher level raises the ceiling per claim and the labour rate we cover.

Cover starts on the date you choose, with a short initial period before you can claim so that pre-existing faults are not passed to us. The exact length is in the terms, and we tell you the date you are covered from before you pay.

No. We cover up to fifteen years and 150,000 miles at the start, and the car ageing past that afterwards does not end your policy. Older cars are precisely who this is for.

With any warranty level, yes. On its own it is £4.99 a month. There is no version of a warranty level where recovery costs extra.
