The bit competitors often hide

What we don't cover.

Pre-existing faults. Problems that existed before the warranty purchase date are excluded.

Routine servicing and maintenance. Regular servicing and preventative maintenance remain the vehicle owner’s responsibility.

Consumables. Tyres, certain brake components, bulbs, filters, oils and fluids and other routine maintenance items may be excluded.

Unauthorised repairs. Repairs, dismantling or additional diagnostics carried out without prior authorisation may not be covered.

Vehicle modifications. Vehicles modified from the manufacturer’s original specification may be excluded.

Certain vehicle uses. Vehicles used for hire or reward, including certain taxi, courier and rental uses, may be excluded.

EV battery degradation. Normal battery degradation is not the same as a covered battery failure and is excluded.

Service requirements. Your vehicle must be properly serviced and maintained in line with the applicable requirements.

This page provides a summary. Your warranty documentation contains the full terms, conditions and exclusions.

The three big reasons

No Excess. Day One. Unlimited Repairs.

Three commitments that decide whether a warranty is worth having — stated plainly, with the limits attached.

01

Nothing extra to pay

If your repair request is approved under your warranty, there is no excess to pay towards an authorised covered repair.

02

Protection starts from Day One

Once your warranty has been activated and your cover has started, you can make a repair request from the first day. There is no minimum waiting period or mileage requirement. Pre-existing faults remain excluded.

03

One problem doesn't use up your warranty

If something else goes wrong later in your plan, you can make another eligible repair request. Repair limits still apply to each authorised repair event.

How a repair request actually works

Call before work starts.

Four steps, and we talk to your garage directly.

01

Tell us about the problem

Start your repair request through your account or contact us with details of the fault. Tell us what happened, when it started and any symptoms you’ve noticed.

02

Provide the information we need

We may ask for mileage, diagnostic information, photos or videos, warning-light information, service history, invoices and vehicle documentation.

03

Get your repair authorised

Before repairs begin, you must receive authorisation from Cover Me Warranty. The repairer may need to identify the cause of the fault and provide an estimate.

04

Get back on the road

Once the repair has been approved, the authorised repairer can complete the work. Where authorised, the repair invoice is settled directly with the repairer.

Don’t authorise repairs, order parts or arrange additional diagnostics before receiving approval. Unauthorised work may not be eligible for reimbursement.

Your garage

You can suggest a garage you trust.

When you need a repair, you can suggest a reputable VAT-registered garage in the UK.
Depending on the fault, we may also recommend an appropriate repairer or specialist.

What type of protection are you buying?

A discretionary warranty plan — not an insurance policy

Flexiterm Warranty provides a discretionary warranty plan, rather than an insurance policy. Repair requests are assessed individually against the warranty terms and are authorised at Flexiterm Warranty’s discretion.

This means the warranty terms, eligibility requirements, exclusions and repair limits matter. We believe you should understand that before you buy.
